What people are saying

I appreciate the gentle practice and your coaching, particularly the importance of the pause between poses, to reflect and collect sensation.  I can easily do the routines. This is a safer yoga for me, at my age and weight, then I have practiced in the past, with the same benefits as the more rigorous Hatha yoga of my youth.  Thank you!

I really enjoy Lori’s classes as they are a wonderful relaxation and true gift to my well-being.

"Yoga helps me slow down and focus on something simple.  That is refreshing and calming.  I find myself stopping occasionally throughout the day just to concentrate on how I am breathing and slow it down.
I love that you explain each position so well while we're doing it. I really can't thank you enough!"

The yoga classes you have provided ... demonstrate your commitment to your students and  your flexibility in meeting our needs .I appreciate your slow yoga approach and connection with each of us. Thanks so much.

I have really had an epiphany today. When I was in my 20s I did Hatha Yoga, and now that I’m in my 70s there’s no way I can do a shoulder stand and all that, and I felt really disconnected from my body. And now I realize… is this really yoga? Yes, it is, but it’s so different. I just love it. Thank you so much.

I love the pace of the class. Relaxing with just the right amount of challenge. I love the way we do something balancing after working on either side of our body and the way we pause and rest in stillness after a sequence of moves.

After the retreat I felt so much more grounded and in my body. Lori does a wonderful job of presenting the science and heart of yoga in such a warm and welcoming way.
It was the perfect gentle reminder that I need to gift myself 15-30 minutes a day just to breathe and stretch in a mindful way.

I will definitely be attending more of her retreats!

I would like to do more slow mindful yoga because I find that my body responds better to this style of yoga.
I see yoga as a full mind/body meditation. The slower pace allows my body the time it needs to fully allow the change to take place while offering my mind the opportunity to be fully present with the pose and my breath
