Did you know…
Yoga is a self-care system for EVERY body. The only requirement for doing yoga is that you have a body and you breathe. If you can’t sit still OR are too exhausted to move, there is something for you. If you are dealing with a serious and/or chronic illness or supporting someone who is, there is something for you. If you have recovered from a serious illness and want to build your strength and resilience, there is something for you. If you are facing – or are currently experiencing – a life transition, there is something for you to help you know yourself better, befriend yourself, and build your resilience. If you are working in a toxic environment that is discouraging, exhausting, and/or angering you, there is something for you to increase your energy, reduce your anxiety (and anger), and build your resilience. If you are feeling stressed by local, national, and/or international events, there is something for you. If you want to show up in a more positive, compassionate, and supportive way for your family and friends, there is something for you. If you simply want to feel better and be more resilient, there is something for you. All of the above are reasons that I have embraced slow, mindful yoga. It’s available to you as well. You can start right where you are and use the tools of yoga to practice self-care. Comments are closed.

Until I considered yoga, I was always searching for the thing that would make me feel good in my body, mind, and soul. As I age, I want to embrace life and feel well every day.
